I am seeing a mismatch between the text height options and the output in the HKP files.

The settings in the tool are what I would expect based on the slides from the presentation.

Line width .12mm, SS height 1.2mm and Assembly 0.5-2.0mm.

However the HKPs simply are 1.5mm and .15mm linewidth.

It is possible that something isn't linked right in my setup or these parameters may not be making it to the output due to a software bug?

As it currently stands, we don’t store text designator or text part type information.

It's built to base defaults in the target tool itself upon translation and the user is expected to do what they will with the text post-translation.

I don't really see the point of having these drafting settings if they don't make it into the file export...?!

The Drafting Settings are your "User Preferences".

Only the Physical Package Dimensions are stored in the FPX file.

The way the PCB Library Expert works is - When the component dimensions and the user rules come together a footprint is created.

User Rules change all the time, but package dimensions never change.
