I have noticed the footprint naming convention uses the max height.

However this not mentioned  in document "IPC-7351B & IPC-7352 Footprint Naming Convention"

Example:

Please add more details

The Max Height is intended for the 3D STEP model.

The majority or Footprint Expert users have the 3D STEP feature and all of them requested Max Height.

We deliver what the electronics industry wants.

We're sorry that we didn't mention this in the IPC-7351 publication.
