Hi All,

Does anyone have a chart or some type of consolidated list of the requirements for a CLASS 3 PCB Design?

It would really help to have all the requirements in an easy to read chart or list.

Thanks in advance!
Bryan

That's a big question. But it needs to be answered. I'm working on Class 3 Type 4 designs for a space project, but the notes all lead back to some IPC standard.

Friends,

Can you please let me know if we have any IPC standards for Routing?

I've never heard of any IPC standard for routing.

Also, trace routing is not included in either the CID or CID+ study guides.

Class 3 is mainly down to land/hole ratios and quality of the manufacturerd PCB, for full class 3 a test coupon(s) is tested from each panel forplating thickness etc.
