Double Sided SMD - How?

How does one create a footprint with surface mount pads on both sides of the board?

Such as for a mid-mount connector? 

I can't see how to change the side.

Build those footprints in FP Designer. 

You can create a surface mount pad stack with these configurations: 
  • Top pad
  • Bottom pad
  • Top & Bottom pad
All non-standard footprints (like all connectors) are created in FP Designer.
