I have recently seen a huge decrease in the number of SOT-223 packages requested. Instead they are moving to a SOT-89 package (similar premis as SOT-223, only flat-lead example linked below).

Note:
Some however do have different "b" values for the middle pin on the three lead side So this needs to be taken into account. An example datasheet of this is linked below.

There doesn't seem to be a standard SOT-89. 

Some have Pin 2 with chamfer corners, some a right angle. 

We build SOT-89 internally custom for each manufacturer recommended pattern and put them on POD.
