I just installed PADS VX.2.2 and now my Library Expert Pro gives me the message "Unable to connect to the running PADS application".  Any ideas on how to correct this?  Running Version 2016.14

I assume it was working before, yes?

I would make sure you're running the new PADS as Run as Administrator. Usually it can be tied right into the shortcut.

Yes it was working before.  I did "run as admin" and it still did not work.  I opened a SR with Mentor, but I need to use it now.  Back to the old days of manual creation for now until they get back with me.

Make Sure the footprint editor is also run as administrator.
