I've downloaded the Library Expert Lite 2017.11 and was surprised that the Tools menu was removed.
I often use the Pad Stack Designer and sometimes the Hole Size Calculator and Axial Lead Form Calculator.
The Pad Stack Designer is very handy when old Pad Stack names are used in an old design and I want to generate the new IPC-name by filling in the Pad Stack Designer.

Please consider for the next time a menu function or option is removed from the free Library Expert Lite software to state this in the Release Notes like:
NEW / ENHANCED:
FIXED:
REMOVED:

I'm running 2017.11, and the Tools menu is right where it has always been.

We were trying to make room in the Main Toolbar for the new Octopart Search engine.

What would you rather have?

Tool Box or Octopart search?

Or both? :-)

I have looked carefully on opening 2017.11 and I noticed that the Tools icon"flashes" and disappears under the Free Parts icon.
So it seems that the icon bar is fixed at some point.
I'm using 2  24" screen with resolution 1920 x 1200

If I can choose for the main toolbar I would have both items.

OK, we'll try to add both features back in V2017.12 Library Expert Lite.

Also, these is another BIG surprise coming with V2017.12 next week that I'm sure everyone will enjoy.

There is no big surprise; DPI problem is estimated that the existing model can not be resolved; suggest that you use WPF.
