Our Minimum Space Pad-to-Pad rule is not working for our through hole components.

We have a minimum 8 mils space pad to pad, but when doing a th component it ignores this rule. How come?

Minimum Pad To Pad rule is for SMD only because Library Expert can only auto-trim SMD pads.

Library Expert cannot auto-trim through-hole pads.

We'll update the text in V2017.05 to read "Minimum SMD Space Pad to Pad"

In V2018 through-hole rule violations will throw an error message.

We just released V2017.05 pre-release with an updated Preference > Rules GUI text that clearly states that the Pad-to-Pad spacing rule is for SMD only.
