Subject: Mounting Hole: What Does "Supported" Mean?

Hello,

What is the difference between mounting holes which are created with checked/unchecked "Supported" option?

Is there any documentation about this feature? I use the Library Expert Lite 2013.20.

Best regards
Guido

These are IPC-7351 terms:

Supported = Plated

Unsupported = Non-plated

If the programmer does not repute important to change the word "Supported" to "Plated"
He can add a tooltip that appear when the mouse go on the Check box icon that display the sentence:
"Supported means Plated, unchecked means Non-Plated"

Greetings.

OK, after further discussion with the programmers, we are changing the GUI text "Supported" to "Plated" in the next release V2014.12 coming out this weekend.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions.
