When creating a diode it uses pin numbers "C" and "A" in the decal. This is the new method pads uses I think around version 2007.

If you look at the part for the decal in pads version 9.5  the "Define mapping of part type pin numbers to Pcb decal" is enabled. If you use alphanumeric pin numbers in the decal you cannot also remap them in the part by enabling this button.

It is Not necessary change the names in part editor if you have already personalized the names in the decal. (suppost that the program permit to personalize the names in decal).

That is not the problem.  Define mapping of part type pins is set when you want to change numeric pins in the decal to alphanumeric in the part. If you already have alphanumeric in the decal you do not need to use that flag. if you do pads gives you an error when you open the part.
