I know that most of these rules are driven by IPC, but I am beginning to have issues with very small SODFL devices.

I am in the middle of creating a bunch of 0402 sized SOTFL devices. My issue is that the calculator only has the one allowance for "Flat Lead" devices. This works great for larger devices, but for these smaller lead sizes (like on the 0402's shown below) the general rule of having the "toe" increased by 0.20, is absolutely huge.

So my question is can the "Flat Lead" Terminal Type be split up into two categories similar to "Gull Wing" and Rectangular End Cap"? This would allow us to keep the "toe, heel, and side" calculations better proportional to the device sizes.
