What is the best thing to do for Ferrite Beads, like the Murata BLM series, with respect to naming? The Chip category in the FPX tool seems to offer Res, Cap, Ind, LED, even Fuse, but no Beads. Just use inductor or make up something new? Cheers!

Ok thanks.
I thought that since the TH naming convention has a Ferrite Bead option I thought there might be one for SMD's also...

We're in the process of adding a new component family - EMIFIL
It's going to hace a 3-pin option for a center pin. |

Ok nice.
Certainly these parts are becoming necessary in pretty much everything that is not a throwaway item. TVS diodes and packages of diodes are also becoming essential... Thanks! Dave. |
