Under the Setup menu when you select an item to modify would it be possible to have a graphic display of the item you are modifying?
For example under setup-components-surface mount-PLCC the PLCC package would display under the 'component family options' on the right. Perhaps the display could update showing orientation & origin etc. as it is selected? |

Sounds like a nice added bonus to the set-up window it's always nice to see what it is you are actually changing.

We added component lead pictures in V2013 so you can visually see where the Toe and Heel are in both the Calculator and in User Preferences.
The Molded Body and J-Lead are the only 2 component families that have the Heel on the outside. |
