Hi, This Button does not work - "Add Footprint to CAD Library". When you click (select) the "Add Footprint to CAD Library" button, the program closes. I tried to reinstall, but the problem is still there. System windows 8.1, 64 bit, framework 4.5 installed and configured on computer. What's the matter? |

In Library Expert Lite, the "Add Footprint" button is greyed out and turned off. Selecting it does not crash the Lite program. If you want to save all your component dimensions or the mfr. recommended footprint, 3D STEP colors and Polarity Markings to FPX file for future use and library documentation, you must upgrade to Library Expert Pro. Select the "Upgrade Now" button. Upgrading to Pro also gives you FP Designer for non-standard part creation and Preferences for you to select your default pad shape, drafting outlines, rules, terminal solder joint goals, default component rotation and many other Preference options. |
