When I am looking at the TH pad stack for a part long after it was created, how can I tell if it was meant to be plated or not plated? I see some MH that have a hole size and then a min size over the hole that is negative and equal to the pad radius, suggesting that it erases the pads. I see other MH that instead have a keepout all spec. Not all seem to have the option for adding a keepout all. There is no box checked off for either saying plated or not.
The real problem here is that there is no written help for pad stacks at all (neither inline nor online). Terms are not defined or ambiguous, resulting in guesswork. I'd prefer a reference I can read than to have to keep resorting to web meetings or phone calls.
