The Third IPC “Hampoo Cup” Chinese PCB Design

   Organized by the IPC - Association Connecting Electronics Industries®, the online audition & registration of The Third IPC “Hampoo Cup” Chinese PCB Design Competition has been officially launched. The competitions of eight areas including east China, south China, central China, north China, northwest, southwest, northeast China, Taiwan & Hongkong & Macau will take place simultaneously.
IPC “Hampoo Cup” Chinese PCB Design Competition is a professional top competition with commonweal and practicalness, title sponsored by Shenzhen Hampoo Science & Technology Co., Ltd and originated with China's chapter of the IPC (Association Connecting Electronics Industries®) Designers Council.   

The competition aims to create a stage for China’s PCB design engineers to show their personal powers and achievements, share and spread the excellent design philosophy. The competition also intends to popularize the design concept, critical thinking skills, and innovation consciousness that the elements including performance specifications, electricity, heat, structure, manufacturability, cost, and period should be balanced comprehensively so as to improve the overall standard of the PCB design industry.  

Participating object: Free to all PCB design lovers

Schedule arrangement:
The registration has been officially launched. Contestants should submit their works before July 31. The finals will be held in early December and the event lasts nearly six months.
Contestants can visit the contest website(www.ipc.org.cn) to submit online registration, download machine test questions and complete and submit the machine works before the deadline. The Championship Organizers will appoint China's chapter of IPC Designers Council to introduce preliminary evaluation of the works and determine the final contestants.
The Championship Organizers will inform the final contestants by email in October. The finals will be hold in early December during the HKPCA SHOW.

The welfare for final contestants:
Before the competition, final contestants have an opportunity to attend the half-day training course of IPC CID.
After paying certification fee, written test passers can get the IPC CID certification. IPC member price: 1200 RMB / person. Non-member price: RMB 1500 / person.
Before December 31, 2014, final contestants who have already registered for IPC CID training course can get a discount.
Final contestants can attend the symposium for the works of PCB Design Finals specially hold by IPC for free.

IPC Awards:
One champion: golden cup, certificate, bonus
One runner-up: silver cup, certificate, bonus
One third winner: copper cup, certificate, bonus
Winning prizes: certificate, souvenir
Individual Awards: certificate, souvenir
Note: All the previous champions will have the chance to be selected as seed players for International PCB Design Competition.
