Would it be possible to re-enable the Round-off in the through-hole padstack calculator?

My guys like to use 0.01mm with Proportional Fab Level.

I cannot find a way to do that in the user settings, so we were changing the roundoff on the fly.

Seems that was disabled back on 2012.50 or 51.

The round-off can only be set using preferences.

Otherwise it would give the impression that users have direct control over it but it will change upon reloading the part.

For example, if a part were built and the user could directly select a round-off of value “x”.

If the part were saved to the library then immediately reloaded it would change to the default preference and appear as a bug.

Can I change the round off for the Proportional fabrication level?  The User level does not give us the flexability for all the variations that the Proportional level has.

Yes.  You can change either the user preferences (in Setup > User Preferences) or create your own default preferences (in Setup > Default Preferences) where the Terminal > Through Hole preferences (there are two) have the Pad Size Round-off set to the value you want.
If changing the User preference you must also change the Fabrication Level to User.
If creating your own default preferences you must also change the source file for defaults in Setup > User Preferences.  Let me know if you'd like an on-line demo.

You can change the round-off, or any value for that matter, by creating your own Defaults.
You do that in Setup > Default Preferences.  Select File > Save As [MyDefaults for example].
Then change any of the values you want and save.
Back in Setup > User Preferences change the 'Default Preferences File' to your new file name.

I was able to change the Through-hole Padstack Round off in my default preferences.

I see it affect the standard through-hole parts, but I do not see any affect in the FP Designer.

Could we get access to change the Round-off in the FP Designer?

Pad stacks generated for the FP designer are created directly in the Pad Stack Designer when you create the pad stacks you're going to use in your footprint.
You'll find the option for round-off there.  Once a pad stack has been created the round-off will remain the same even if the preference is changed.
The same is true for the mask settings.

The round-off setting is greyed out.  Is there another place to set it?

Actually, it should reflect the current preference.
Bug fix in progress...
Thanks.

Was this completed for 2013.10?  I tested it and when I change the round-off, I get a SMT pad while still in the Through Hole view.

Also, can you have the Round-off available in the Utilities Padstack calculator as well.
