We have custom text blocks defined for Silk and Assembly. We would like the ability to map a text field to a text block in the Output dialog box. It would also be nice to disable the Device Type text.

I second this.
Every foot print we create, we change the Assembly and Silkscreen RefDes size, and delete the Device Type text. |

I would highly suggest writing an Allegro post-process script to automate cleanup of elements to your specific custom setup. Custom mapping of textblocks is something we likely would not handle in the translator. |
