Due to the fact the DefaultPreferences.dat file had a typo in the "J-Lead" solder joint goals, that file had to be updated. However, we cannot update your UserPreferences.dat file or any personal Preference .dat files that you created. So you need to manually update the data yourself.
 
Select "Setup / User Preferences / Terminals / J-Lead / Environment / << Update User / Save and Close"
 
 
 
Or, if you did not change "UserPreferences.dat", there is a much easier way to make this update. Go to the installation folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\PCB Libraries\FPX 2012" and delete "UserPreferences.dat" file. When you run the V2012.12 Footprint Expert program, it will auto-generate a brand new file that will match the "DefaultPreferences.dat" file.

Version 2012.12 has just been released!

2012.12 Fixes & Updates:
  • Default User preference for J-Lead terminal 'Toe' changed from 0.35 to 0, 'Heel' changed from 0 to 0.35 (swapped Toe & Heel Goals)
  • Quad package 'corner trimming' bug with rounded rectangle and oblong pads
  • Timestamp line added to PADS translator .d files for versions 2007.x and 9.x
  • Missing corner radius added to PADS decal square shape file format
  • Changing working window from 'Minimize' to 'Restore' results in very small form size
  • Unable to change user setup for Pulsonix
  • Import error in PADS Part Type when Alpha-numeric pins are not mapped to Decal
  • Side trimming in Quad parts is using the land-to-tab rule instead of the land-to-land rule
  • Pin 1 setting incorrectly when component manufacturer recommended pad length is used on 2 and 4 side parts with thermal tabs
  • Paste mask checkerboard not orienting correctly depending on whether chamfers or rounded corners are provided
  • 'Footprint' tab set default to 'Dimensions' tab
  • 'Convex Chip Array' with 4 pins all the same 'Lead Width' creating a bad pin size for PADS Layout .d file
