Hi, Ryan. We're looking into updating the free Pro edition so no ads get called if the program is minimized; they only get called up if the program is open. We should have this update built into the next release. I don't normally have anger issues but after a few times having the footprint expert ad block other windows (even though I had FPE running in the background), I had a very strong urge to uninstall and delete my account credentials. 

Seriously, this isn't the way. Want to block your program with an AD in exchange for being free? No problem. But blocking my other work unless I close the program or pony up some cash? That is most unwelcome.
